Automatic Mechanical Bar Type Screen
Short Description
The Hydronovus Mechanical Bar Screen (HN Series) is an advanced solid-liquid separation device engineered for continuous and automatic debris removal in wastewater pretreatment. Installed directly at the water inlet, this robust unit effectively intercepts and removes large suspended solids, protecting downstream pumps, valves, and biological treatment processes from clogging and damage.
⚙️ Structure & Working Principle
The device utilizes a continuous, sealed teeth chain composed of specially shaped rake teeth. As the chain wheel rotates, the entire rake chain moves upward against the water flow, capturing solid debris attached to the teeth. When the rake chain reaches the upper end, most of the solid material drops out automatically due to gravity and the guideline rail. Any remaining residue is completely ticked clean by a reverse-running rotary brush, ensuring a fully automated and continuous self-cleaning process.
🌟 Key Engineering Advantages
- High-Efficiency Drive Unit: Directly driven by a premium cycloidal or helical gear reducer, ensuring high load capability, stable operation, and low noise during heavy-duty conveying.
- Intelligent Overload Protection: Equipped with an automated safety mechanism. The machine will shut down immediately if a malfunction or mechanical jam occurs, preventing equipment damage.
- Flexible Control Options: Highly adaptable electrical controls allow for simple on-site manual operation or seamless integration into your plant's remote PLC/SCADA systems.
- Heavy-Duty Scalability: For channel widths exceeding 1500mm, the system is engineered as a parallel dual-machine structure to guarantee overall mechanical strength and prevent frame deflection.
- Low Maintenance Design: The compact and simple structure is easy to install. The continuous self-cleaning capability minimizes the need for manual intervention.
